Is Pancake free?

Pancake is in private beta with a waitlist. The MCP surface and backtest engine are the core product; pricing is not yet public. Sign up at usepancake.com to get early access.

Pancake is currently in private beta. Access is granted via waitlist — sign up on the homepage to be notified when your seat is ready.

The batter execution engine (the Python package that computes backtest results) is open-source under the Apache 2.0 license. You can pip install batter and run it locally against any EvidenceDataset. Open-source use is and will remain free.

The Pancake cloud service — the MCP endpoint, receipt storage, strategy memory, canonical dataset pool, and the hosting layer that advances strategies toward live execution (a v2-roadmap capability) — is a hosted product. Pricing for the hosted service has not been published yet. The product is designed for AI agents and the developers who build them, with a usage-based model in mind.
